Hobbies

I love to travel. My parents move to a different country every three years or so, and I get to visit wherever they live, as well as travel to nearby places, and I absolutely love it. I've had a fascination with science ever since I was little, watching crazy medical mystery shows and complicated birth shows on TLC and Discovery Channel for as long as I can remember. I love getting gross with science experiments, and finding ways to make learning fun. I thought a lot about becoming a teacher, because of my love for kids, but I realized I wanted to become a doctor, pediatrician to be exact, so that I could take my compassion for kids and use it to help them. I have played the piano for over 15 years, and although I haven't had much practice these past few years, I still have a passion for the piano and all music in general. Reading is also something I enjoy. I was never a huge fan of reading for school- I always wanted to read my own books. Nevertheless, I still love to read, and I've come to realize that those books from high school were simply classics that I'm glad to have read. Now, I prefer mysteries, classics, and non-fictional books about inspiring stories. Last but not least, I love running. I love being physically fit and pushing my body until I can't go any further. I was never a big sports person in high school- since we moved around a lot, the sports would differ from school to school. Running, however, has been a big part of my life, and is something I truly enjoy.
