Education

I hold a BA in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina with a minor in Anthropology. I graduated Cum Laude with a 3.6 overall GPA and a 3.8 major GPA.

Experience

I have held informal group tutoring sessions all throughout my college years. Many peers have reported higher test scores thanks to my sessions and study help. I graduated high school in three years. I achieved a 28 on my ACT, a 4 on my AP English 4 exam, and a 161 on my Verbal Reasoning portion of the GRE. I am a published writer; I have worked as a news journalist and free-lanced for a culture jounal. I am also an accomplished scientific researcher and have presented a paper at a regional psychological conference, SEPA. I want to tutor because, to put it simply, I am good at studying. I always loved helping my fellow classmates to better understand their classes. I like to show people new and interesting ways to approach difficult concepts or sticky subjects. I believe anyone who is willing to put in the time and work can conquer any subject, as long as they have the right guidance. I know that I can offer that guidance and would love to help you succeed in academia.
